If you’re interested in knowing more about politics and the economy – both in the UK and abroad – you’ll find this course fascinating. You’ll cover topics such as understanding markets and how the economy is managed, as well as industrial economics and their effects on labour markets.
 
Pre-requisites

GCSE Economics is not required, however an interest in economic affairs and a desire to explore the study of economics in the modern world is essential.

Assessment

Once you've enrolled on your chosen course(s), you'll receive all the information you need to arrange your own exams, including details of syllabuses, exam boards and dates. Exams are held in various parts of the UK.

If you're based outside of the UK, it may be possible to sit your exam through your local British Council, depending on your location.
Exams take place in January and June with the deadlines for submitting coursework being 1st October and 1st February respectively. Please note that exam fees are additional to course fees.

NB: To be able to sit your exams in June the deadline for submitting coursework is the 1st of February, if you have any questions about examinations please contact us.
