Aimed at managers or business owners, our Managing Safely course, backed by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), is an excellent way to get up to speed on health and safety issues.

The knowledge you gain from this course will make you a more effective business manager. Covering all the key areas of health and safety in the workplace, the course will help you make your organisation a safer place – protecting both the welfare of your staff and the success of your business.
 
Pre-requisites

The great news is that you don't need any previous experience to take this course, however a good level of English would be beneficial.

Assessment

This course includes a workplace project that you complete as part of your coursework which will be forwarded to your tutor for grading and comments. The project takes the form of an inspection of the workplace and risk assessment, the results of which must be recorded.

You'll also be required to sit a 45 minute exam set by IOSH at an authorised testing within the UK. Please note exam fees are additional to course fees. The exam will consist of multiple choice questions and questions requiring short answers and will take place in January and July.
You must enrol before end March for July exams and end September for January exams.
